Luke 42077 Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Hi, there's a problem with your build of ffmpeg. ffmpeg version 0.8.17-6:0.8.17-2+deb7u2, Copyright (c) 2000-2014 the Libav developers built on Jun 14 2016 13:08:29 with gcc 4.6.3 The ffmpeg program is only provided for script compatibility and will be removed in a future release. It has been deprecated in the Libav project to allow for incompatible command line syntax improvements in its replacement called avconv You'll need to install a newer version. Alternatively, instead of installing, you can just download a static version from here: http://johnvansickle.com/ffmpeg/ Unzip that to any folder you want, then configure it in the Emby Server dashboard under Playback -> Transcoding Thanks.

Luke 42077 Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Ok, sorry. Thanks for trying that and reporting back. One other problem is that you're running the mono 4.4.X runtime, which we have seen some problems with. So there are a couple options here. You can drop back to mono 4.2.3.4, or you can use the emby server beta channel, which has some fixes for mono 4.4.
tekkb 13 Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 @@canta91 See my latest post here to get it working with mono 4.4.1: http://forums.openmediavault.org/index.php/Thread/6033-openmediavault-emby-plugin-formerly-mediabrowser/?postID=119183#post119183
Guest Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 (edited) @tekkb I try to update 3.1.71, but i have same problem. Edited July 21, 2016 by canta91
tekkb 13 Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 Ah, I did not notice you were on an ARM device. You need to find a version of FFMPEG that will work for the bpi. The plugin should work if you get a version of ffmpeg that works with the Emby and the BPi.
