Probably something I have overlooked, but where do you get the rotten tomatoes ID from?

I have entered a movie in the website, but cannot see the ID anywhere

just from their api. it's not exposed in their html page

How do we access their API and get the id?

You will need to access the api using a software development environment, unless they have an online application for you to get examples of API requests. You can't just see the API returns, you have to request them.

Here is their "dynamic documentation" http://developer.rottentomatoes.com/io-docs

You will need to register for an API key and then log into the dev side of things to be able to use the dynamic documentation.

How do you mean no description of the benefits? If you click on the plugin it takes you to the plugin plage where you can see description, reviews, and revision history.
