Music Libraries on remote devices

I have EMBY and KODI set up on the main server and it functions flawlessly.  Remote devices can be anything from a win10 computer to a raspberry or RIOTboard.  I may be dumping the raspberries for a MSI device for media purposes in the future and using the raspberries for other uses.  While my video libraries on the other devices play back flawlessly, the audio library isn't playing back at all.  All metadata is there however it just refuses to play the content.  Any help would be great.
