Festivus Oz 0 Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Please help fill a knowledge gap with 3d title library scan. I need to know if it is possible to auto populate the 3d tag in Emby for a title when a library scan is performed I.e. based on file or files syntax. I know that the following 2 items are required with the Kodi plug in: 1. Setting filename. Currently as <thename> <quality> <audio_channels> <source> <3d> <3d_type>.<ext> 2. 3d Tag (Emby) to be populated. Currently I am seeing this manually after the scans are done however would hope to get this done automatically Any help would be much appreciated. Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk
ebr 16194 Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Hi. Information on this is in our wiki: 3D videos
Festivus Oz 0 Posted July 23, 2016 Author Posted July 23, 2016 Hi. Information on this is in our wiki: 3D videosHi ebr. I read the Wiki prior to the post. I utilise both the folder naming convention and filename convention. However when the library scan is done in Emby it does not autopopulate the 3d tag in Emby. Without this the movie is not tagged as 3d in Kodi. If you then have 2 copies of the same title you may select the wrong one. I want to avoid manually populating in metadata manager. Is this normal behaviour? The Wiki is not clear on this. Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk
Spaceboy 2573 Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 It should, perhaps provide an example of the file name you are trying?
pgriffith 88 Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 I recently had some problems with spaces in my file names, once I changed it, Emby picked up all my 3D movies up automatically on the next scan. See my post for details http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/37059-3d-movies/
