CBers 7450 Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Any way of adding a long-press option so as to get a CONTEXT menu, similar to the way there is in the web client and Kodi? Would need to decide what goes in it, but I'm sure people could think of useful shortcuts Anyway just a thought. Thanks.
ebr 16169 Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 A context menu is already available via remotes that have a way to invoke it. That would be a Fire TV or a shield/NP using a game controller (the Y button). If you have a remote that can mimic one of those then you will get it. As for making it work on a long-press that is more of a long shot since the selection logic is actually being handled by the Android framework itself. 1
CBers 7450 Posted July 18, 2016 Author Posted July 18, 2016 I use the Shield remote, so I guess for now it's a No. I'll have a play with the controller, but it's alien to use one to watch TV
