Server fails to start - unhandled exception

Emby Server 3.0.5986.0 fails to start. The splash screen appears, the progress bar goes to about 90%, then it sits there for many minutes and finally give a message (Unhandled exceptions. One or more errors occurred), when you dismiss this message Emby terminates.

Background, I was using it every day until recently I traveled with the laptop.  While travelling Emby failed to start because the NAS was not available.  Today I return, NAS is available, but I have this problem. It creates an unhandled….txt log file. Log files are attached.  I did try uninstalling and re-installing the server - same version, but still the same.  I could try uninstalling with remove all traces ticked - but thought I would ask first.

Any help appreciated.

Well the error says

	disk I/O error
	disk I/O error

You probably want to run diagnostics to look for possible hardware failures, starting with windows chkdsk.

Thanks for your help.  I have done chkdsk on the C: drive twice, very slow, but now reports the disk OK. Emby Server still failed but now the error was "database disk image is malformed".  So I deleted data/library.db and then it starts, takes hours to rebuild, but now looks OK.
