iBoss 31 Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Here it is. I have waited around 25 minutes If you go to the detail screen of a next up episode, then click the season link, are you able to see episodes for that season? No, it shows just an infinite loader indicator I'll update to the new version 3.1.106 and do the test again. thanks
Luke 42077 Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Ok, I'm going to add more logging for the next beta, thanks.
Luke 42077 Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 3.1.107 is up. Please grab that, make sure debug logging is still on, and try to pull up a season list. thanks.
iBoss 31 Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 (edited) Version 3.1.107.0 Details TV Shows: No seasons list (I was waiting there around 20 min) If you go to the detail screen of a next up episode, then click the season link, are you able to see episodes for that season? Luke 42077 Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Ok thanks. In the next build I will add additional logging.
madjomack 0 Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Ok thanks. In the next build I will add additional logging. I want to thank you for continuing the work on this issue. I am having the same issue and as some others have said the ... and refresh isn't doing anything for me neither.
bozrdnag 75 Posted August 16, 2016 Author Posted August 16, 2016 Luke - I know you said you would add mor logging so my log may not be of any use but I figured I'd post it anyhow in case in does shed some light. I grabbed the log from Version 3.1.107.0 the moment the seasons appeared (or at least as fast as I could save it). You can see this line in the log: 2016-08-16 16:15:50.6340 Debug BaseItem: GetSeasons returned 9 items from database But that was when I first went in to the series. No seasons showed up until somewhere at the end of the log right before I captured it. server-63606960140save.txt

It's something else after that, when it is packaging up the data to return to the app. Thanks.
Luke 42077 Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 3.1.109 is up. Please provide a new log with that. Thanks.
iBoss 31 Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Version 3.1.109.0 Here is the log server-63607021057.txt
bozrdnag 75 Posted August 17, 2016 Author Posted August 17, 2016 (edited) I haven't yet updated to the new version yet as it's not showing for my docker container yet. But I have done some more testing and I am seeing the delay in the logs. I just used my cell phone to time the duration between clicking on a series and it's seasons appearing and I got 1:09.66. Checking the log shows this line: 2016-08-17 14:55:10.5288 Info HttpServer: HTTP Response 200 to 192.168.1.38. Time: 69042ms. http://192.168.1.42:8096/emby/Shows/b6a3ac4bd5491330f313cbd50253195b/Seasons?userId=db850fea48004a8d8db369870829b085&Fields=ItemCounts,AudioInfo,PrimaryImageAspectRatio,BasicSyncInfo,CanDelete That 69042 ms works out to be 1:09.04. On another series I timed it at 3:17.81 and the log showed this: 2016-08-17 15:00:45.7605 Info HttpServer: HTTP Response 200 to 192.168.1.38. Time: 197032ms. http://192.168.1.42:8096/emby/Shows/60e9ac1d2510e30ce43bacb049b071ba/Seasons?userId=db850fea48004a8d8db369870829b085&Fields=ItemCounts,AudioInfo,PrimaryImageAspectRatio,BasicSyncInfo,CanDelete Which comes out to 3:17.03. I have tried about six other shows and get similar results each time. So it seems that this log entry accounts for pretty much all of the delay. Additionally, I've checked the timing multiple times for the same show and the delay is always close to the same (within 1-2 seconds both in the log and my measured times). Hope that helps somehow. Luke 42077 Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Can someone else provide an equivalent log to post #135 so that I can compare? thanks.
bozrdnag 75 Posted August 17, 2016 Author Posted August 17, 2016 I forgot I had a server install on my Windows desktop. I updated it to 3.1.109.0 and here is it's log: server-63607049201.txt
Luke 42077 Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 3.1.110 headed up. Please let me know if it makes a difference, and if not, please provide a new log. that's basically the process until we weed it out.
bozrdnag 75 Posted August 17, 2016 Author Posted August 17, 2016 (edited) Here's a new log: EDIT: Sorry I must have attached the wrong log the first time around. Fixed now. server-63607050227.txt Edited August 17, 2016 by bozrdnag
Luke 42077 Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Here's a new log: EDIT: Sorry I must have attached the wrong log the first time around. Fixed now. Unrelated, your ffmpeg config is invalid and pointing to a .c file instead of .exe.
bozrdnag 75 Posted August 17, 2016 Author Posted August 17, 2016 This is just a test install not one I use. So if it's not impacting the problem we're working on, I'm not worried about it.
omnilogix 0 Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 3.1.110 headed up. Please let me know if it makes a difference, and if not, please provide a new log. that's basically the process until we weed it out. version 3.1.110 now seems to be working on my XB360. Including the log just in case... Log.txt
omnilogix 0 Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Wait, that log is on version 3.0.6060.0 It's split i think, the log was active, and I installed the latest beta. It did not seem to start a new log, but the last timestamps were after the beta install
Luke 42077 Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 I don't see the beta version in that log, but if it's working for you then that's good to hear.
omnilogix 0 Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Wait, that log is on version 3.0.6060.0 Here is the most recent log, definitely has 3.1.110 activity. The previous log had beta activity starting around timestamp 2016-08-17 18:35:00 or so Log.txt
Luke 42077 Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Well I guess we'll have to see what others report. I did cut the work by almost half but I was not expecting that to be a fix.
