For those of us that are wanting to try and create a theme for Emby Theater but have some problems getting started, maybe make a quick video showing how to get started and some basic changes. tutorial

I'm a bit confused as to how I'm supposed to edit element files from a higher level in folders structure e.g. "bower_components" folder.

You don't edit them. You either use them and style them with your own css, or don't use them and create your own versions.  You can find the components here:

Hopefully, just styling with css alone is enough, because then all you have to do is add css to your skin. If that's not enough, then you can copy the component into your skin, and change the javascript to use your custom version instead. then you can have control over the entire thing.
