siredgar 6 Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 I did not see this feature nor a request for it, but if I've missed it please point me in the right direction. I would love to see some file auditing tool for the media added to your collection, that MB knows about, but doesn't have complete/accurate data for. Right now I go through my media library movie by movie, tv show by tv show. I look for missing IDs and missing images/metadata. MB3 obviously knows about it, so a tool of some kind to see it all at a glance (database, spreadsheet, etc) would be very helpful. Alternatively, instructions on where to find the data if it's already centralized somewhere and the right kind of tool to access it would also be wonderful. Thanks for considering! --- John 1
CBers 7450 Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 You should be able to see this in the Dashboard. I'm at work now so can't supply any screenshows, but I think if you edit a collection, you get to see all of the items on the left, which will also show any missing images.
ebr 16169 Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Yes the metadata manager will show you missing images and trailers via icons on the left: Additionally, in the special views (Movies, TV, etc) you can use advanced filters to find these: 1
siredgar 6 Posted January 8, 2014 Author Posted January 8, 2014 Thank you. I am using the first method now, but it's a lot of scrolling I was hoping for some export or other method of pulling it into a more textual based view such as a spreadsheet. However, I had missed the filter function of the second screen shot. I will play with that. Thanks!
siredgar 6 Posted January 9, 2014 Author Posted January 9, 2014 Ah! Filter, missing IMDB ID is perfect for what I'm looking for - thanks!
