Connect to local server using https

Hi there,

 

i cannot seem to add local emby server using https( https://192.168.0.x with custom port. I recieve a message "we're unable to connect to the selected server ..."

Is this not supported in iOS app?

I am able to connect with https using browser/kodi

It is currently not supported with a self-signed cert, so unless you have a cert from a trusted authority, you'll need to use http for now.

Edit: It looks like there's a fix I can apply but it will require iOS9.

I'm guessing this is the similar to the issue that I have....I can access the server remotely via https in chrome on a desktop, however in the app it gives me an error. Assuming it's like you mentioned with the self signed cert problem?

 

Will the fix you implement work with iOS10 or just 9?
