Getting Invite to use server

I am new to Emby and experiencing difficulty connecting to server. I have read that I should ask 'owner' for an invite which will expedite the process...How does this work?

Most people here run their own servers and maintain their own media libraries. That is the primary focus. I guess if you know someone running Emby, you can talk to them. The system isn't a "Free Media" system though.
