Powerhouse 0 Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 I just installed Timelord (16.1.19.136), restarted the Emby server, and ran the plugin (via Scheduled Tasks), and it says it completed in 1 second. With over 700 TV Shows, there is no way it could go through all those that fast. Not sure where to look for error messages, or why it doesn't seem to work correctly. Any help would be appreciated. I'm running the Emby Server on FreeNas, if that makes a difference. Path substitutions are working correctly, and my Kodi clients are working with the Emby data just fine.
phantomscribbler 3 Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 (edited) It could run that fast, as it only affects certain episodes which fit a certain criteria.. in fact Since.. beppo gave me the source the locic for episodes is as simple as (i => i.LocationType == LocationType.FileSystem && i.DateCreated > i.PremiereDate && i.PremiereDate != null && i.IsLocked == false) I could change this a bit, so that it just checks that the date created isn't equal to the PremiereDate, and then sets. do you have an example of where its not setting... screenshot of the dates should be fine Also, its fast because its running a metadata change not actually touching the physical files (regardless of what other people would tell you) Edited July 7, 2016 by phantomscribbler 1
Powerhouse 0 Posted July 6, 2016 Author Posted July 6, 2016 So I have several TV shows that I recently added to Emby, and in Kodi, the dates didn't change so they still show as recently added, where if Timelord was working, these wouldn't show up (as the episodes are listed from 2014), and I actually have newer shows that were from just a few days ago, that aren't listed.
ebr 16169 Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 What about in the web client? What if you look at the added date by editing the item?
Powerhouse 0 Posted July 6, 2016 Author Posted July 6, 2016 I will look at that when I get home from work. So, assuming the web client has the new corrected date, wouldn't that also show up in Kodi?
Powerhouse 0 Posted July 7, 2016 Author Posted July 7, 2016 Ok, just checked, and on the web client, the Date Added was indeed changed (7/26/2011). So how do I get Kodi to pick this up? Do I need to refresh the Emby Data on Kodi?
Happy2Play 9780 Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 @@Angelblue05 what needs to be done to sync/refresh Kodi in this situation?
Angelblue05 4132 Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 (edited) Just a manual sync should do it or a repair database sync. Does it not send a websocket event when the dates are updated for each modified item? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited July 7, 2016 by Angelblue05
Powerhouse 0 Posted July 7, 2016 Author Posted July 7, 2016 Manual Sync does not fix it, nor does repairing the database sync. For the last part, I have no Idea what your asking.
