Filtering Latest Items on Home Screen

Issue #1 - I am trying to filter the latest items on my home screen for the nexus player.  I have a movies library and an unset (mixed library).  I just want the movies library to show in the home screen latest items.  Whats happening is its showing both libraries in latest items.  I have checked the just show movies in latest items in the home screen settings but this does not seem to be working as its still show items from my unset (mixed library). 

 

Issue #2 - Also, I am noticing that if a user watches a movie, it disappears from my other users home screen recent items, not all the time, but some of the time.  I am having trouble locking down what is happening.  To try and remedy this, I have unchecked the "hide watched content from from latest media" on the home screen settings.  It only brought back some movies for my users, but not all of them.  I am certain that the dates on the movies not showing have a recent date.

 

I should also add that all filters work perfectly on the home screen on the web client.  All recent items appear as they should.  These 2 issues only manifest themselves on my nexus players.

What, exactly, did you check and where...?

 

The second issue sounds like a problem that was reported a while back on the server and, I believe, is addressed in the upcoming release.

I made the changes in my user profile under dashboard>home screen settings.  Videos from the "Workout Videos" section which is an an unset (mixed library), are still showing in the latest items even thought I don't have it checked.

i have the same problem, i dont have any of the boxes ticked but the view keeps coming up in Emby Theater.
