mercalia 0 Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 (edited) I like the idea of emby with its general application range BUT why oh why did you dump the media center plugin style that you found on MS Media center? The one you have is not every effective and practical regarding screen real estate? The old Media Browser 2.6 was very practical and why I havent moved over to Emby ( though I tried out the plugin for Roku ) and never will on my PC home theater. sorry. throgmorton 96 Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Maybe I'm misunderstanding something but they still have an Emby plugin for Media Center. I'm still in the process of migrating over now and barring a couple of quirks it seems to behave just like 2.6. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ebr 16194 Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Yes we still have Emby for Media Center and we also have a whole bunch of other client options for Android, iOS, Android TV, Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV...
throgmorton 96 Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Maybe @@mercalia meant the look (style)? Each client will have a different look/feel. I believe all the MB2.6 themes are available in Emby now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
mercalia 0 Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 (edited) does it look the same? at start the bottom a row of user definable categories with a latest install list top right? then for each category when you enter 2 rows of covers that you can scroll left and right?. if it can look exactly like the default old MB 2.6 then I ll have to have another look at Emby. But my memory was it didnt. Edited July 5, 2016 by mercalia
ebr 16194 Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 It depends on what theme you were using in 2.6 but, yes, basically it is the same.
