I have posted many times that I set out on the path of a central storage media solution 5 years ago. Like many I tried plex and loved it at first. Then went to Mediaportal for live TV integration. Finally arrived here on what was MediaBrowser and now Emby. During this time my wife looked at me crazy and asked several times why I was doing this.

 

I came home yesterday to find my computer was on but not posting. Did some digging to find out the cpu is bad. Ordered another one and waiting on it to come in. After telling her this I got approval to over night and rush processing one. She then proceed to say her exact "You have spoiled me. I don't know what I will watch on live TV." I then hooked up the stupid digital convertor box from my Cable provider and was lost on what is on TV and what channels have what.

 

So I wanted to write this as a big thanks for all the hard work the Core developers and third party developers have done to make this a great peice of software that my family is lost without.

 

WAY TO GO GUYS AND THANK YOU.

 

 

 

Update: The server is back up and not a day to soon.

Well said and well done buddy.

 

Yes, I been as well since day one with all kind of media, mid 80's if I remember it, as digital media.

 

This project start it with a vision of 2 persons, and 4 helper persons, and one tester, small project, and look to it now.

 

Well done indeed to all Emby dev's team, amazing and great work, as to my book, the best media in everything.
