AutoOrganise - Does not check for recent media folder moves

Move a show from T:\TV1\The Wire

To T:\TV2\The Wire

 

Put an episode The Wire S01E02.mkv into the auto organise folder and rescan organise folder (prior to library refresh to 'update show location') and Emby will place S01E02 in T:\TV1\The Wire (ie recreate the entire show/season/metadata structure).

 

appreciating its  not realistic for Emby to rescan library prior to every autoorganise task..it would take too long.

But The organise task could check for the existence of the show folder prior to moving content.

 

Is there a case that requires EMby to be so cavalier/forceful and create show folders? Could auto organise mark the file failed and just try the file again after next library scan to get the right answer?

 

Retrying failed files (of shows known to Emby, but currently AWOL) presumably is a quick local check, that its not harmful to repeat?

The next scan would either update Emby with the correct location or confirm the show was deleted (whereupon auto organise could then give up checking again if it needed to)
