Anyone able to help me out with some basics

Hi,

 

I've started having a look at a fork of the skin and bending it to my will in a fairly basic manner.

The problem is I am not really a js coder and am finding it hard to achieve what I am trying to.

 

I was wondering if there is anyone in the community who might like to try and give me a bit of a helping hand?
