initial sync/full resync makes Emby Server crash

hey

I can't sync the database anymore

Movies, box sets and music videos run through fine, but when it comes to tv shows the Emby Server stops working.

I'm running the server on a Synology DS414 with mono. After the server stops working, the mono-process still uses a lot of CPU power. I have to restart Emby manually to make it work again.

The Kodi log is full of these errors:

Go to the add-on settings > sync option > limit artwork cache threads > set to 25. This should resolve your issue.

thanks I'll try.

Any idea why this happens now? I made a lot of full resyncs before and never had these problems

set it to 50, seems to work now, thank you!

Was the default value lower than 200 in earlier versions?

Limiting the artwork cache threads is different from requesting maximum item limit (it's always been set to 200 by default). Was it a combination of both that helped in the end?

lol oh sorry I mixed the settings up.

I only set down the maximum item limit to 50, this solved the issue for me.

It's a little strange because I really often did a full sync with the default settings and it never came to problems. I tried stable and beta plugin, both the same. So I really don't know what has changed.

The only thing I changed was renaming a lot of TV-show-files to this format:

S01E02 - Mijo.V80021957V.strm

These are Flix2Kodi (Netflix) files and the "V80021957V" is capable for the watched state sync.

I guess this cannot be the reason for the issue?
