Hi, i unlock a licence of android TV emby, everything that i play is on PCM stereo, but i tried several formats (DTS, DD) can you please point me how do i have to configure the server and the client in order to get DD5.1 and DTS passthrough, i buy the app because i thought it was supported, i'm usin a SONY KDL 50w805C Android TV 5.1.1

I don't think any of the TVs support DTS.

My TV has optical spdif output as ussual and from there to my audio receiver that is DD and DTS capable, i need to know how to configure to passthrough the signal... this works OK on Kodi, i want the same for Emby. That's why i choose to buy the app

The native Android Player and VLC doesn't support DTS bitstream on Android 5.(1.1). Android 6 should do this, so you have to wait for an update

PS: DD should work, but i heard about some optical issues on the Sony TVs. I use the ARC connection, which works fine with DD
