Question about /Users/{UserId}/Items/{Id} RunTimeTicks field

Hello, I'm working on an application that needs to obtain some very basic information about files from Emby, among which is the file length. I'm calling the REST API at /Users/{UserId}/Items/{Id} and it seems that the length is represented by the RunTimeTicks field. After looking at a few files in my library it would seem that a "tick" in RunTimeTicks is 0.1ms, is this universally true? Does it hold for every file type supported by Emby, or does it change based on video frame rate, codec, container or some other such thing?

 

Sorry if this is already covered, if the information is out there somewhere I've been unable to find it.

It is consistent as long as you are talking about playback time and not file size in bytes.
