metadata download

I want to try an use Emby again for all my media, I currently use Plex for my Movies and TV Shows.  What setting do I need to check and uncheck so I don't download all the metadata to my current folders where my movies and tv shows are?  I want all the metadata to be stored in a separate folder.

 

I think these are the ones I need to make sure are checked or unchecked.  Again I want the metadata in a separate folder and NOT in with my media.

 

Download artwork and metadata from the internet

 

Save artwork and metadata into media folders         I think this is the one I DON'T want checked

 

Download all images in advance

Yes that is the options you want.  You can modify your option in Metadata-Services-use drop down for each media type.

 

And you can step the metadata folder path at Library-Advanced-Metadata path
