mmmann 8 Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Hi. I got an Email stating that "Emby Theater 2.4 [has been] Released." Congrats to the developers, I'm sure it's fantastic. Can I run it on Windows...on my 2nd monitor, yet? Many months ago I reported that Emby Theater does not work on multi-monitor windows. Therefore, I'm stuck on the old, classic theater. A couple months ago I asked again and the answer was that being able to run under Windows (in a multi-monitor environment) had been back-burnered. I saw another user ask the same question, so I know I'm not the only member whose use-case involves watching movies on Windows w/o using the PC as an front end to a television. Has this been solved? I'd like to run Emby for Windows on Windows so I can watch movies while I work. Note: I'd be happy to investigate and report, but the process of switching back and forth is horrific. Emby does not have a Default View = List sticky setting, so it's very painful to uninstall, install, uninstall, install. Thanks, Mike
yardameus 221 Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 It's working fine for me, with the exception that when I open Emby Theater, I have to have the mouse on screen that I want it to open on.
Puff 4 Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 I can second that.. Works on my systems.. just have to mouse over to the screen you want to use. And you have to move it before you start to play anything. The zone for the title bar to click and drag, seems to be unavailable once a video starts. So launch, move and play.. and you're good to go!
bluc 21 Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Any chance of having an option to select what screen to open on? Rather than having to move it each time I want to use it?
