Guide Channel Icons - ideal size

Is there an ideal size for channel icons in the guide?  I use schedules direct and would like to modify and make some new icons that looks better but want to know the correct size before I do.

Not really, the apps will scale as needed so it doesn't really matter.

Size, no but as for shape I wouldn't get to radical of an aspect ratio.  Stick to no more than about 1.5:1.  Otherwise, if they are scaled into a squareish box, they may not be readable or look good.

So after I upload a new one, how long till it shows up on the FireTV guide?  Shows up in the web player but not FireTV.

 

Also how can I get the original icon back

To get the original back you'd just have to delete your custom one and then let the guide refresh bring it back later.

Not sure how they could be different actually.  Have you re-started the app?

yeah I had to restart the app on the FireTV and its all good now.  Just can't stand how some of the icons are black letters, makes it hard to see.
