electric_sponge 0 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Hello, instead of looking at movies or tv, I'd like to see them all co-mingled in the same list when I browse. My first attempt was just calling them all 'movies' which gives me the single list as I'd like, but it wasn't pulling in TV metadata correctly (solved by moving them all to a TV folder type, but I now have two lists). Is there a way to combine all my home screen categories into one list sorted by date? Thanks
Logos302 86 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I think you might be able to do what you want by setting it as generic media, but I'm not sure. The other option maybe using shortcuts to your movies in your tv folder and then having two media collections (Like you have now that gave you the two lists) one for movie and one for tv. Then you would go into your tv folder which would have your tv and your movies. But this is just a guess as this is non-standard.
aspdend 177 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I would have thought having a general media folder mapped into the library as a collection type 'mixed' would do the trick, that may be worth trying...
electric_sponge 0 Posted January 7, 2014 Author Posted January 7, 2014 Yep, that was it. I completely missed that there was a 'mixed' category and thought I had to choose. Thanks
