2BTSquared 5 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I get the above error most times I log into MBT. My log attached. theater-63524550690.log
bruce73 2 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I get that as well. It seems to happen when I scroll my videos before MBT has fully loaded the metadata. It doesn't appear to affect anything that I can tell. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

When I single click, it doesn't seem to happen.
cylon 15 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Also happening to me, doesn't matter if I double-click or single-click when selecting the account to login with. It doesn't occur if I am patient and wait for all the movie images to load (takes about 2 mins). It used to load almost instantly.
chef 3810 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 (edited) That error refers to an asynchronous http request which has cancelled. This happens when a threading task times out because of a cancelation token parameter which tells it to throw an exception of the server doesn't answer the request. A few things to look for: Are you transferring files across the home network? Are you using a client PC? If this is happening during a login it, most like likely is happening because the server is passing a lot of asynchronous information about users back a forth between the client and itself. cylon 15 Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 I worked out the problem on my machine - since upgrading to Windows 8.1 the Realtek NIC was negotiating to 100Mbit instead of Gigabit. Lots of posts on this issue here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows8_1-hardware/upgrade-to-81-from-8-ruined-my-internet/db7b6452-384a-400d-9b32-ec21598e53a5 I did a lot of troubleshooting before I managed to fix it, rolling back/installing new drivers and forcing the negotiation to gigabit, nothing worked. It turned out to be as simple as unplugging the Ethernet cable and plugging it back in. Make sure you do it on the PC side as I did it several times at the switch thinking it was the same thing.
cylon 15 Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Update, this issue has returned intermittently. There seems to be two contributing factors: My MacBook Pro seems to slow down my unRAID server if I allow it to stay connected to the network shares."Ejecting" the unRAID server seems to make a huge difference. Since I upgraded to unRAID 5.0 I uninstalled all additional scripts including cache_dirs. This script caches all directory and file names in memory.Installing this script must allow MBS to quickly establish the online status of the media hosted on the unRAID server.
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 (edited) According to the logs, the error is due to canceling the view of a movie. Edited January 14, 2014 by Wayne Luke
