Using Windows Phone App as a remote for Emby Theatre

Hello, I've purchased the windows phone Emby app, and when I try and use it as a remote for Emby Theatre, I just have a blank screen, and buttons only appear if I start playing back a video by another method. Is it possible to use a Windows Phone as a remote control for Emby Theatre, including navigating around ET and starting playback?

No, navigation is not supported.

You can do it with the web app though, and it works very nicely with Microsoft Edge mobile.
