Path Substitution in Emby on a Linux OS (samba and NFS)

Need information about path substitution particularly in Linux (Arch Linux).

1) So can I set up both samba and NFS path substitution on emby for the same media folders?

2) Will an emby client read either one depending on what OS its installed in?....meaning if its a Windows/Android, will do a direct play using samba and if its a Linux will it either do samba or NFS .

3) In case of the Linux client case will emby prefer samba over NFS or NFS over samba?
