How to refresh an entire music library

I've looked everywhere and can't figure out how to refresh an entire library (in this case music but same issue with other media types).  I've been updating album artists manually (refresh doesn't always work so I manually lookup the musicbrainz id and identify it that way) but once I got to artists I decided to ask for help.  All I could find when searching this topic was posts from 2014 and 2015.  Software seems to be different now.

 

On a side note, does the metadata manager use flash? I can't get it to work on my iPad.

You can do a library refresh by going to the Metadata Manager selecting your library, then the three dot menu top right, Refresh.
