ab123ga 14 Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 When I try to play a movie via tv.emby.media, the movie starts but then all I get the audio. No video shows. This occurs on any movie. Using other methods/clients to watch the movie works perfectly. A short clip of what occurs is below. I also provided the transcode logs and server log for around this time. Movie being watched Ultimate Avengers. Version 3.0.5972.0 https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-BTG8UIIpFvcjV3YUVQa1ZacVU https://app.box.com/s/soevfeyipdbph1imnf2w
ab123ga 14 Posted June 2, 2016 Author Posted June 2, 2016 Chrome Version 51.0.2704.79 (my primary browser) Since you asked I tried in other browsers IE 11.0.31 - With this I don't even get the audio. It just sits with the background screen. Firefox 46.0.1 - Works I used the same movie noted above as the benchmark.
Luke 42077 Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 IE is not supported for this app. I can't reproduce the problem with Chrome, sorry. Try refreshing the title from the detail screen, then play again. If the issue persists, please provide a sample file.
ab123ga 14 Posted June 2, 2016 Author Posted June 2, 2016 I tried the refresh and it did the same thing in chrome... audio but no video. I rechecked firefox and it worked fine again. I provided two folders. The first includes the transcode logs and I renamed the files to show Chrome vs Firefox. The second is a folder that includes the movie I've been using. https://app.box.com/s/soevfeyipdbph1imnf2w https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-BTG8UIIpFvdi1YSV9hOU42cU0
ab123ga 14 Posted June 3, 2016 Author Posted June 3, 2016 FYI: I tried playing the movie via chrome on 2 separate computers and same result. Audio but no video. The strange thing is I accessed the site via chrome on my iphone and both audio and video played fine. Maybe tomorrow I'll try uninstalling chrome and try again.
Luke 42077 Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 this file is playing ok for me. is it chrome on windows? and is it up to date?
ebr 16169 Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 I would start disabling any add-ons and such too...
ab123ga 14 Posted June 3, 2016 Author Posted June 3, 2016 When I disabled the add-ons it played fine. I guess I'll turn each on one at a time to see which is killing it. Thanks for your help.
