Disable *poster.jpg creation of video files within Photo Collections

Hi,

 

I would like to disable any metadata creation of *poster.jpg in Photo Collections.  This results in undesired images of videos being backed up to the likes of Google Photos, Flickr etc.

 

Is it possible to stop this functionality for JUST the Photo library? Or possible strore these *poster.jpg files outside of the Photos folders?  There isn't a way to get google folders to exclude any file types for backup and it's really messy.

I get them created as well, but I purge them every so often.
