pgriffith 88 Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 Hi Guys Just noticed in the notes for 305 that weather is now fixed. Yay, fired it up.... hmm no weather, old details were still there? Looks like you now need the WOEID number, not the alphanumerical one I had there before. Here is a handy lookup for that number http://woeid.rosselliot.co.nz/ couldn't find it from yahoo itself. Cheers all, and thanks for fixing that guys, nice! 7
ebr 16169 Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 Yes, thanks. It does appear this will require re-configuration for most US users.
throgmorton 96 Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 I don't think it's limited to US users as I needed to change my ID as well as previously it was CAXX0301 and now it's 3534. Unfortunately I didn't see any other way to fix it or options in the Yahoo query that would allow the old codes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
aspdend 177 Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 I needed to change mine as well (UK) - works perfectly..thanks for posting the the link @pgriffith
throgmorton 96 Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 @@ebr I may have to make another small change as I have noticed a small "bug". The query for some reason doesn't return the leading 0 for sunrise and sunset time. So for example 7:03 am comes in as 7:3 am. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1

In the process, could you make the number of days retrieved configurable or something? It used to retrieve like 4 but now gets more than that and the display runs off the screen in Chocolate...

I don't think I can limit the query but we should be able to make a configurable amount. But this will require some small changes to the MCML as we would need to send an integer or something of how many days you want. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited June 2, 2016 by throgmorton

I'm pretty sure there was a way to limit the amount of items coming back in the repeater. As I do want to keep the full amount in the extended forecast but simply augment the call to limit your repeater to 4 or what have you.
ebr 16169 Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 Ha! There hasn't been any documentation since 2009 and intellisense hasn't worked since VS 2008 (except we did have a hack that made it work with 2010). I still have an installation that has it but it is on a different machine. I'll take a look when I get a chance.
