I hope you get some results, unfortunately I don't have the knowledge or ability ability to help.

But I would love to see MB3 on my LG smartTV as Plex is already there and I would prefer MP3.

Just an example of what can be done on these new smart TVs.

Plex for LG smartTV

http://plex.h3consulting.net/screenshots.html

I am using it now and it runs fantastic and it's not even finished yet. Still working out the bugs.

Simon will be submitted the client to LG for the app store soon as testing is complete.

Not trying to promote Plex here as I am definitely a MB3 fan.

I just want developers here to see what can be done on these new smartTVs and that new plex client is a perfect example.

Can you imagine MB3 on my Smart TV? Wow ...would love it!!

Just to add that samsung and lg both dev programming environments and also emulators so there is no requirement to actually own one of these tv's, the just need html5 & java programming knowledge.

I just need someone to help by signing up and creating a post similar to what i did on open elec. if you know how to do that, then you can help with this.

For those who are interested in seeing an MB3 app on their smart tv, we need help recruiting JavaScript developers to take this on.

Is there someone who can help promote us in these two forums?

http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?3-JavaScript

http://www.codingforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2

This is an example of what's needed:

Intro + github link + some pretty screenshots

Someone step up!

Awesome. @@DaN Can you change it to be more like this:

http://openelec.tv/forum/90-miscellaneous/67673-media-browser-client-for-openelec

You can basically use the exact same text, just substitute openelec with samsung.

Keys to success are:

- Short, no long paragraphs

- bullet points

- github link (will resonate with developers)

- no begging (the project has to appeal to them, they're not here to serve you)

- pretty screenshots help a lot (take some from the github link)

@@Cheesegeezer I don't think so sorry.

I've been pretty active here over the last 2 weeks as I've been on holiday. Don't like saying no as I really want MB3 to be as good as it can. However, I'm happy to help when I can (see next post below) but don't want an official title in case my time vanishes after I go back to work tomorrow... which it will!

Cheers

Hi, I have registered and have posts awaiting mod approval at webdeveloper.com and codingforums.com as per @@Luke above.

I spotted on their sites that they don't like any sort of advertisements but I have asked them anyway and Luke advised me on what to say to them.

Keep you posted!

As of now the post has been viewed by 48, I guess we have to update the thread in an informative way, so more keeping it on top of the list, getting new and old visitors to check it more, Any ideas what content should I post?

Hi, stats so far...

LG Developer Forums appear pretty quiet at the moment so only 20 views so far.

Webdeveloper.com allowed my post and so far 147 views!

No replies yet...

Nice. Can we get some pretty screenshots in there? Maybe some of the ones from my last blog post.

Also can we get some others in there to bump the thread?

Update: The post in SamsungDForum has been viewed by 76; no responses so far; I need ideas to keep the post on top everyday; also I think of discussing the matter directly with active developers in that forum.
