web interface is really slow in edge browser

I have noticed that the server is much slower when browing with the microsoft edge browser compared to chrome. It actually lags a lot in edge. Is there a reason why this is happenening and is there a fix? I installed the beta to see if it makes a diffence but it didn't.

Chrome will probably always be a little faster than Edge because we are taking advantage of new browser features as they become available and Google almost always leads the way. More importantly though, Edge doesn't yet support the native WebAnimations api, and as a result, some parts of the UI are not animated like they are in Chrome. Lack of animation is something that can create perceived slowness.

 

Having said that I test on Edge every single day, using a desktop, Xbox One, and a phone, and it seems plenty fast to me.
