Upcoming TV Shows - Add shows or show empty folders

I finally upgraded my HTPC about a week ago and with that I went ahead and redid Media Browser putting in MB3 since I was still using MB2.  I have to say I love it so far, it's much nicer for the family with multiple user names and the web client is awesome cross platforms (Macs and PC's in the house).  But even with that I have a couple of feature requests, I'll put them in separate threads each, but I did want to put my praises up before I got started  :D

Upcoming TV shows, I love this tab in the web browser, my only issue with it currently is it only shows upcoming shows for shows that currently have video file in it.  My HTPC is limited on how much storage it can use.  Most TV shows we watch once and then like to delete them to save space so most of the time there's no episodes in current TV shows.

What I'd like to be able to do is, whenever we have folder for that particular TV series it would still show up in "Upcoming" even if that folder is empty.

Another option I could see would be to have MB3 Server constantly populate a static list of shows in a config file somewhere from shows that it has pulled metadata for.  The addition of this though would require an easy way to remove shows from the upcoming episodes list.

Once again, great work with the software.  Now I need to get off my ass and donate to help out this great piece of software  :D

Just seeing but have you tried turning on the missing episodes, unaired episodes feature. Just wondering if it might pick up and show it for then empty series and then show up on the upcoming tv area.

Nope, just tried that.

I had an episode of a show in a season, it pulled all of the metadata/pictures for that series, showed all of the right stuff and all of the upcoming.

Removed the episode but left all of the metadata in the episode folder and it disappeared from all of my views and also from the upcoming shows list.

Actually, playing around with it a bit after I was typing this up I think I found a working workaround for myself at least until (if) this feature gets added.  If I rename a text file "Showname-S00E01.avi"  it shows up in specials or label it "Showname-S999-E01.avi" it will show as an episode of Season 999.

It doesn't look pretty, but it accomplished the same goal I was trying to do for the time being.
