Missing remote access authentification

I'm sorry if I'm missing something obvious but why can i login to my emby server from my friends network and laptop without being asked for a password? I can just click my profile and have full access. ( I did setup a password of course)

 

-I have set up emby in freenas

-dynds on my own domain

-setup my domain as external WAN address

-port forwarding in my router to emby ports

I think when i added the users. I did have to input the password for the account the first time i used it on my mobile and laptop. Just either generally not anymore or just not anymore on Chrome.

​The thing is in the server dashboard gui i cannot enter a new password for the user. It says login failure, which is strange because it only asks for a new password not any old one.

 

​Ok - i managed to fix it probably. I deleted all users, added an manual root account with admin rights and my usual users with only read rights and passwords. I can now see new and old password fields in the gui. This seemed to be buggy before. I have to test now if it asks for the passwords correctly.
