Question about cinema mode

It appears this new release has caused the local trailers not to play on WMC again. Release 3.0.5970 seems to be the cause.

 

This was something i reported previously (15 April. I think) and fixed with release 3.0.5934

 

Just thought i would mention it.

Local trailers are available to play as an option and play without any issue when selected. However when they try and play in "cinema mode" it seems to skip the playback and only play the custom intro.

 

This affects both WMC and the web client.

 

I am not using the plugin and all trailers are stored locally.

 

As mentioned this was a problem on the previous release but was then corrected. It has now returned with the latest server version.

I can't reproduce the problem, sorry. Try adjusting the cinema mode filters. If there's still an issue, please supply the info requested in how to report a problem. thanks.

Thanks for the update. Seems it is related to the Smart Parental Control, if this is enabled then it skips the trailers.

probably because it just limits the pool of available titles to the point where there aren't enough similar options. thanks for updating.

Using that option together with "Block items with no rating information" will produce very few trailer results because many of them come out before the movie has been rated.
