Hello,

 

I'm trying to get Parental Controls working in ET and I noticed that in Metadata Manager, most movies have ratings like:

 

"Rated R for Violent Content"

 

instead of "R" or "PG-13".  Is there a way to properly scrape this data?

 

Also, I'm in Canada, so all the ratings in my user setup are "CA-G" or "CA-PG".  Does Emby translate the equivalent to determine what users are allowed to see?

 

Any guidance is much appreciated.

Hi, try refreshing those titles. There was a defect in older versions of the server that would scrape the rating like that.

 

Yes we do have a mapping for the canadian parental values. Unfortunately they're not exposed for configuration, but you can view them here and compare to the us values, and let us know if we need to add any new ones:
