Bman59 3 Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Hi everyone, Since a few weeks i am running Emby on a Windows 8.1 machine as server, with all my movies and series in sync. All there is good. Last week i added the music option in the Emby Server. Tagged eveything, and let my Kodi (16.1) with the stable latest emby version run a sync. Hopefull that i was, all my artist, cd's and compilation cds where imported, and everything is looking good. Playback is fine and i have no issues here. But tonight i have found something that i cannot fix. Situation: When i open on my kodi, the music section, and go to artists, and i select as example AC/DC, i see my 2 albums that i have, and starting a song. All goes good, and when i return to the artist overview, select AC/DC again, it says its opening music from ABBA :mellow: Okay, exiting the music section, from the beginscreen of Kodi, going to music,artists select AC/DC, 2 albums from AC/DC. Go one step back, open AC/DC again, ABBA . I thought this could be an issue with not showing artist that are on compilation / various artists disk. Enabled the option, did a full sync, same issue. On Emby server is everything good under the section Album Artist. Under the section Artists there are more artists than Album Artist, and i guess here it goes wrong. Once i start music fron the kodi dashboard, and go to artist, it loads the list "Album Artist from Emby server", when i go back, and i am still in the music section, and want to go to artist again under kodi, it loads the "Artist from Emby server. This happens on my Windows 10 computer, with Kodi 16.1 stable, with the emby 1.0.3 stable plugin. Also on my rPi with OSMC there is the same issue. Im hoping that you understand my problem, Sorry for my bad english. If you need log files i am happy to provide them.
Bman59 3 Posted June 4, 2016 Author Posted June 4, 2016 Update; Removed all the compilation artist, and still when i open a artist there are strange things. if i play cd from a artist, like AC/DC and go back i now lose artist. When i first open the artist view, 3 Doors Down is in the list, when i play something, and go back, the artist is gone
