Clicking on search result and clicking back doesn't take you back to search results

When you search and click on a item can it take you back to the search results. I happened to search for a show to record and in the search results there were two other shows that I wanted to record but once I select record and click back it takes me to another screen not search results.

This drives me crazy!! I logged on to raise that very issue

This should be a simple to do improvement, right?! Please!!!!
