Can we have ability to sort our channel order + larger tiles for "on now"

Any reason why we do not have the ability to sort our channels into an order we prefer, also in the "on now" section the first couple of tiles are full sized then the rest are truncated and you have to read the full description below to see what it is sometimes? Any way of showing full tiles for on now?

Sorry, in situations like these I like to learn what it is you're struggling with in addition to answering the question, that way we can change whatever needs to be changed so that the next person will get it on the first try.

 

The answer is you can edit channel sort titles using the metadata manager just like any other content, and/or you can also mark channels as favorites to affect sorting as well.

Hi Luke, thanks for your response.

I did in fact find a way of doing it by adding channels as favs I had to be careful what order I did it in to have them in the right slots but it kinda worked.

 

I did look at the metadata manager but I could only find a way to change channel names maybe, not the number order in which they appear in the epg.

 

I will try to play around a bit more but if you can spare a mo, a pointer as to how to use meta manger to do it would be cool

Ok, it does look like the sort name field is hidden for tv channels, i will unhide it for the next release of the server.
