Adding filter/search ability for Dolby Atmos and DTS-X

Emby server is currently able to show "TRUEHD" for Dolby loss-less Titles and "DTS-HD MA" for the DTS equivalent.

However, there is no ability to filter/search on those via the Emby Theater client.

Also, Dolby Atmos titles are not flagged as such, they all show up as just "TRUEHD".

I'd like to be able to be able to do a search for all the Dolby Atmos titles in my collection.  Is that possible?  Ditto for DTS-X once titles in that format start showing up.

For example, when I look at the Audio information in Emby for a Dolby Atmos title, it shows the following:

Codec: TRUEHD

Layout: 7.1

This is incorrect.  It should be:

Codec: ATMOS

Layout: 7.1.4

Thanks

As a temporary workaround I have been using tags. Native support would be much better.

So I added the tag "ATMOS" to a couple of my titles, but then I do a general search, they don't show up.  I guess the search function doesn't look at tags?  I also don't see a way to filter on tags, at least not in the web client (I'll try the Emby Theater client later).

So what client are you using that supports tags?

Works for me in the web client.

Hmm, looks like  my tags are all messed up.  When I filter on tags in the web client, I get this:

embytags.JPG

So I have a bunch of tags that I did not add, and they stop when I get into the B's and the "ATMOS" tag that I added to a couple of titles is not showing up.

Is there a way to clear out all the tags I currently have?

that's probably from a long time ago when we used to save plot keywords in tags, or, that could be from some other metadata program they can be removed from items using the metadata editor.

You mean title by title?  That's going to take a LONG time with over 2,500 titles....

Or does the metadata editor have an option to globally wipe all tags?

we don't have that right now. i understand it would be extremely tedious, i was just pointing out that it is possible.
