sei4eto 0 Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Hello! I use emby server on win 7 machine. When I add a new movie, the server downloads poster with the lowest possible resolutions available - ex 90x170. When I manually select hi ress poster, after a while it replaces selected hi ress posters with low ress. What should do I do?

Happy2Play 9783 Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Are you sure they are coming from Emby? I haven't seen any images that small on any provider. Can you provide an example. By default I believe minimum is set to 1280 for Series and Movies (at least they are preset on my test machine).
FrostByte 5392 Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Can you can change settings for posters, or just backgrounds? but ya that is a lot smaller than I've ever seen on tmdb. Could lock the images, but if they are coming from somewhere else that won't help
Happy2Play 9783 Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Sorry, yep minimum image is only for backdrops.
sei4eto 0 Posted May 7, 2016 Author Posted May 7, 2016 So, I manually changed posters again. Let's see when they are gonna change again.
Deathsquirrel 745 Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 That really doesn't sound like things coming from Emby. The providers it's using often don't accept images that poor. Have you possibly added the same library to another media app or metadata scraper? That sounds like the kind of images Windows Media Player will inflict on you for example.
sei4eto 0 Posted May 7, 2016 Author Posted May 7, 2016 I indeed have plex on the same machine along with emby since 2014, but this issue have started recently. I'll check if windows media player has recently updated.
