Hosting a openvpn server

Recommended Posts

Posted

Good morning

I have a kodibuntu machine (14.04) with Openvpn- and Emby-servers on it. I can remotely connect both servers.

Probably a stupid question, but how can I direct the Emby server's traffic through this openvpn-pipe? What Im trying to achieve is completely private and safe way to enjoy my media-server while Im away

hello :)

Why don't you use iptables to do that ? (NAT/PAT) ?

Could look at pfsense as well.  VPN, etc support built in.  Been using it for my firewall, antivirus, route, bridge for years now and it's only pissed me off a few times.
