chromecast not working

hi, when i try to cast from pc or iphone it just stays black, on stable server version

when i go to cast it loads up on the chromecast but the tv stays black and it does not seem to connect, the icons dont go blue. then after a while the chromecast just goes back to its normal background

Have you gone through the chromecast setup yet to get the Chromecast onto your network? It sounds like there is a more fundamental issue here. Thanks.
