Windows 10 DLNA

So i discovered that Windows 10 is picking up the Emby server on another machine, awesome.

I can browse into this under network places and see the library categories, again, awesome.

But when i try to brows into any of the categories to see content, i get "no items to display" messages.

 

I have a default profile set etc in DLNA but i can't see to figure out why this isn't letting me see content.

 

Any suggestions/insights would be very appreciated.

Hi, do you mean in windows media player? I've tested this and don't see any issues. Thanks.

@@Luke, by default Windows 10 sees Emby via DLNA (network locations).  Does Emby only display media for the users with the least access.

 

example

I have 2 users for the server one with full access and another with limited access.  Windows 10 displays the limited users media.

if you don't set a user then it's more or less random

At least in my cast there are no users set in DLNA or per profile.  So it would appear Emby is defaulting to user with least access.
