1ntroduc3 4 Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 (edited) Hi there. Hopefully here someone can help me out. I'm trying to stream TS files in a m3u playlist on my emby devices from my emby server and I have a m3u playlist with TS files inside of it. If I load the M3u in VLC it works like a charm, but unfortunately, it's not working through Emby. It stops playing after 2-5 seconds. I'm doing this on a 2GHZ Quadcore with 8 GB DDR3 RAM and win7, where beside Emby the following apps are running: sabnzbd filezilla FTP Here's the log: http://localhost:8096/emby/videos/efcc7f21e30fa7e8cdca3152bee06849/stream.mkv?DeviceId=36b113428e0d3ecadba3a4e8ecfdeaa2797a9a73&MediaSourceId=27ee4b36cac04caca9709c0f9809f66a&VideoCodec=h264&AudioCodec=mp3&AudioStreamIndex=-1&VideoBitrate=9680001&AudioBitrate=320000&MaxAudioChannels=6&Level=41&Profile=high&PlaySessionId=a58a330d0a71469cad7253196a7f4c98&api_key=bf63136743f84c4ca3a8494b0defa4e7&CopyTimestamps=true&ForceLiveStream=false {"Protocol":"Http","Id":"27ee4b36cac04caca9709c0f9809f66a","Path":"http://www.x-media.tv:58080/live/paulkm/satlover.com/478.ts","Type":"Default","ReadAtNativeFramerate":false,"SupportsTranscoding":true,"SupportsDirectStream":false,"SupportsDirectPlay":true,"RequiresOpening":false,"RequiresClosing":false,"BufferMs":1500,"MediaStreams":[{"IsInterlaced":true,"IsDefault":false,"IsForced":false,"Type":"Video","Index":-1,"IsExternal":false,"IsTextSubtitleStream":false,"SupportsExternalStream":false},{"IsInterlaced":false,"IsDefault":false,"IsForced":false,"Type":"Audio","Index":-1,"IsExternal":false,"IsTextSubtitleStream":false,"SupportsExternalStream":false}],"PlayableStreamFileNames":[],"Formats":[],"RequiredHttpHeaders":{}} C:\Users\Media\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\ffmpeg\20160401\ffmpeg.exe -fflags +genpts -noaccurate_seek -i "http://www.x-media.tv:58080/live/paulkm/satlover.com/478.ts" -sn -codec:v:0 libx264 -force_key_frames expr:gte(t,n_forced*5) -vf "yadif=0:-1:0" -pix_fmt yuv420p -preset superfast -crf 23 -b:v 9680001 -maxrate 9680001 -bufsize 19360002 -vsync vfr -profile:v high -level 41 -map_metadata -1 -threads 3 -codec:a:0 libmp3lame -ac 2 -ab 320000 -af "aresample=async=1" -y "C:\Users\Media\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\transcoding-temp\08e195a7c7225c5570336d3d69f07de4.mkv" ffmpeg version N-79173-gbe746ae Copyright (c) 2000-2016 the FFmpeg developers built with gcc 5.3.0 (GCC) configuration: --enable-gpl --enable-version3 --disable-w32threads --enable-avisynth --enable-bzlib --enable-fontconfig --enable-frei0r --enable-gnutls --enable-iconv --enable-libass --enable-libbluray --enable-libbs2b --enable-libcaca --enable-libfreetype --enable-libgme --enable-libgsm --enable-libilbc --enable-libmodplug --enable-libmfx --enable-libmp3lame --enable-libopencore-amrnb --enable-libopencore-amrwb --enable-libopenjpeg --enable-libopus --enable-librtmp --enable-libschroedinger --enable-libsnappy --enable-libsoxr --enable-libspeex --enable-libtheora --enable-libtwolame --enable-libvidstab --enable-libvo-amrwbenc --enable-libvorbis --enable-libvpx --enable-libwavpack --enable-libwebp --enable-libx264 --enable-libx265 --enable-libxavs --enable-libxvid --enable-libzimg --enable-lzma --enable-decklink --enable-zlib libavutil 55. 19.100 / 55. 19.100 libavcodec 57. 32.100 / 57. 32.100 libavformat 57. 29.101 / 57. 29.101 libavdevice 57. 0.101 / 57. 0.101 libavfilter 6. 40.102 / 6. 40.102 libswscale 4. 0.100 / 4. 0.100 libswresample 2. 0.101 / 2. 0.101 libpostproc 54. 0.100 / 54. 0.100 [mpegts @ 00000000003ba760] PES packet size mismatch Input #0, mpegts, from 'http://www.x-media.tv:58080/live/paulkm/satlover.com/478.ts': Duration: N/A, start: 8306.800000, bitrate: N/A Program 1 Metadata: service_name : Service01 service_provider: FFmpeg Stream #0:0[0x100]: Video: h264 (Constrained Baseline) ([27][0][0][0] / 0x001B), yuv420p, 720x576 [SAR 64:45 DAR 16:9], 25 fps, 25 tbr, 90k tbn, 50 tbc Stream #0:1[0x101]: Audio: aac (LC) ([15][0][0][0] / 0x000F), 48000 Hz, stereo, fltp, 117 kb/s [libx264 @ 00000000031eaae0] using SAR=64/45 [libx264 @ 00000000031eaae0] using cpu capabilities: MMX2 SSE2Fast SSSE3 SSE4.2 AVX LZCNT BMI1 SlowPshufb [libx264 @ 00000000031eaae0] profile High, level 4.1 [libx264 @ 00000000031eaae0] 264 - Luke 42083 Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Hi, thanks, I'm adding a change to see if we can address this. If you can switch to the dev branch and help test it that would be appreciated. The change will be available tomorrow. Thanks.
Pauluzz 0 Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Hi, thanks, I'm adding a change to see if we can address this. If you can switch to the dev branch and help test it that would be appreciated. The change will be available tomorrow. Thanks. Could you share what's being changed? I've had this in the past and am curious. Seems something related to the AAC buffer size. Is there an option to change this buffer size? Or is this related to something else?
