Latest release 3.0.5934 wont install

It say installation is complete, and needs to restart. After restart there is still 3.0.5933 installed and the message I need to restart. I have even restarted the computer.

I had similar issue when updating to 3.0.5933, but after several restarts I suddenly had it installed.

What is causing this?

So once in a  while I'm having this same issue. It's usually a file that still locked for some reason.

 

The workaround:

 

- Exit the Emby server (or stop the service)

- browse to C:\users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\

- rename the system folder to system.old

- browse to http://emby.media/download.html

- download and install from there
