Setup Emby with Kodi on an Android Client

Hi

 

i have configured embyserver on my windows pc and it works rly well

 

i would love to access the databes on my androids, i have installed the emby addon on my android tablet and configured the io adress of my winpc, but im not able to access the database

 

hope anyone can help

Open the emby server dashboard and check that the ip listed matches the one you entered, if both devices are on the same network this is usually detected automatically

i tried both ip adresses, the local and the web, with and without http

i am in the same network

 

it did not work :/

You don't need the http or the port (the port has its own field)

Just the ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

If you still have problems reset the addon from the settings and select to wipe everything then on restarting, your server running on the same network should be automatically detected and configured

it does not work at all :/

 

 

i perfom the following steps now on my android tablet:

 

1. deinstall kodi - clear data and cache

 

2. download kodi from playstore and install it

 

3. open kodi and do the following steps https://emby.media/emby-for-kodi.html - is this the problem? maybe i use the wrong addon??

i think i had an other addon, it works like a charm now!

 

one thing would be very nice - is there a function, addon, or skin, where i can see my last played videos?
