TomTiddler 39 Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Having an attack of stupid today -- how do I add items to a collection? Can't for the life of me remember how to do this.
Deathsquirrel 745 Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Hover your mouse over the item > select the ... menu > choose Add to Collection
TomTiddler 39 Posted April 26, 2016 Author Posted April 26, 2016 Doesn't work for a music album, only for the artist. What gives?
Luke 42083 Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 It might be on the detail screen under the dot menu. Otherwise it will always be available using the multi select tool. The reason it is not there on all types is that the number of context menu items is starting to get overwhelming, and for music collections are not used quite as frequently.
TomTiddler 39 Posted April 27, 2016 Author Posted April 27, 2016 OK Luke, you got me - what is the "multi select tool"? and where do I find it please?
FrostByte 5392 Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 (edited) Basically on screens where multiselect works you just left click and hold on an object for a couple seconds and you should see something like the pic below. Then just start putting a check in the box for each additional item you want to added by clicking the 3 dots on the right of the green bar. Works with albums, movies, etc to add to collection. I just wish it worked with songs within an album to add to a playlist because I usually don't want every song, but a lot of times I want more than one song added to a playlist. TomTiddler 39 Posted April 27, 2016 Author Posted April 27, 2016 Once again - of course. I did already know that, just couldn't for the life of me remember. I have the same issue with playlists, and would love to see this athe song level as well. For now, this may well solve my "don't show me everything by this artist" problem with music content. Thanx 1
