Transcoding mkv x265 for Roku 3

I tried it on two HEVC files and the results are very satisfying.

On the other hand, I seem to have lost all statistics (viewed vs not viewed) in the TV episodes.

Well, I'll wait for the stable version to correct all this.

Did you perform the database clean and then library scan as previous post suggested?

I just did clean up and scan.

Everything seems back to normal.

Hello Luke and Happy2Play,

 

Since this post, I've been running Emby Server 3.1.66.0.

It's running fine, but I'd prefer to use official release.

Is there an official release that has this problem fixed, i.e. bitrate increased to help play transcoded file on Roku?

I would suggest installing the latest release from the website on top of your current version.
